About
I'm Louise Slope, a BANT-registered nutritional therapist and founder of Nourished Nest, specialising in maternal and child nutrition across Buckinghamshire, Berkshire and online UK-wide. I'm not just a nutritional therapist, I'm a parent who truly gets it. As a mum in a neurodivergent household, I bring genuine first-hand understanding of mealtime challenges, picky eating, sensory sensitivities, and the exhaustion of not knowing where to turn. I work with families from the very beginning of their journey, supporting pregnancy nutrition, postnatal recovery, and confident weaning, through to the more complex challenges of picky eating, ARFID, neurodivergent nutrition, and child gut health and allergies. My approach is always gentle, practical, and judgement-free. I simplify the overwhelm, turning complex nutritional advice into small, manageable steps that fit around real family life. No perfection required. Just progress, one step at a time, together. I hold your hand through the parenting journey, helping you feel more confident and supported at every stage. As well as one-to-one support I run New Beginnings, a fortnightly postnatal group in Beaconsfield, and weaning workshops in collaboration with The Village Midwife. I've been featured in The Guardian's expert guide to neurodiversity and contributed specialist nutritional expertise to Mum, Interrupted: The ADHD Woman's Guide to Pregnancy, Birth and Beyond by Sarah Marsh.
