About
I work with clients using the philosophy of functional medicine to explore the biological and nutritional imbalances that may underlie health concerns. Rather than focusing on symptoms in isolation, I seek to uncover the root of each condition through detailed questioning and, where relevant, functional laboratory testing. I work across a wide range of areas: hormone production and thyroid function, gut health, nutrient status, adrenal function, and metabolic profiles.
I'm often asked whether food really can affect how we feel, our mood, our sleep, or our energy levels. The answer is yes. When we think of food at its smallest scale, it is a set of chemicals. Creating the right balance can profoundly affect how you feel both physically and emotionally. I tailor my approach to each person because everyone's story and needs are unique.
I'm a realist and firm believer that strength comes from simplicity. If you don't enjoy cooking, I won't suggest nightly banquets, and if you work long hours, I won't recommend adding hours of exercise a day. Instead, I create practical, achievable plans that fit your real life. I use evidence based nutrition and lifestyle advice to support your body's own capacity for wellbeing, and I work with you to build sustainable change.
